Star Child: An Original Online Radio Play


	Cast Welcome to the cast section, where you can find out who the voice is behind the characters you're tuning in for (if you tune in at all, that is...listen to the show, darn you!). Nickname along with real name is supplied, along with e-mails to contact the individual actors, and a bit of info about the actors themselves. Lamont Bowes Voice: RedComet82, a.k.a. Justin A. Swartz Role: The sarcastic skeptic hero (why else would he be listed first on the page?) Bit O' Info: Since he was old enough to write letters, Justin has been writing stories and coming up with tales and epics based on whatever kind of fiction he was absorbing at the time. He can site the Transformers as the first spark to his imagination, and the second being Mr. Roger's Neighborhood, and the third being Robotech. While this spark may have been dormant, it never stopped burning, and as Justin became involved in Anime (first through Sailor Moon, then through Fushigi Yuugi and onward to bigger shows), his imagination seemed to never stop running. Justin is a computer operator at a local bank in his town, and he prides himself on being able to make people understand what is wrong with their computers without all the geek speak. Aside from work, Justin writes often, tries his darndest to live a strong Christian life, and enjoys old radio shows and movies (The Shadow, The Green Hornet, The Whistler, and Lights Out were all strong influences on Star Child), along with Anime (Mobile Suit Gundam, Crest of the Stars, X TV, Star Blazers, and Yu Yu Hakusho are his favorites) and a warm book (Isaac Asimov, Michael A. Stackpole, Lilian Jackson Braun, Lewis Grizzard, Woody Allen, Ian Fleming, and Dave Barry are among his favorite authors). Lucy Bates Voice: AlyxAVA, a.k.a. Jennifer Alyx (last name omitted at her request to save everyone from dying of laughter) Role: The female lead and target of the 'powerful individuals' who are after the Heart of God. Bit O' Info: I have been voice acting in the amature realm for just over 5 years now, and I don't see any end to that. It all started for me while writing for an online anime magazine, where I saw an ad in the classified section asking for people to audition for a radio play. That rp never got further than a few casted characters, but I did find a link to a whole community of people which propelled my into the world of amature voice acting and producing. I am making an attempt to try professional voice acting starting in Fall of 2003, so wish me luck ^_~ As for hobbies, I love voice acting and producing my own amature fandubs and radio plays. I also like reading (mostly young adult horror/fantasy novels like L.J. Smith's Night World series and even the Harry Potter books) and writing my own short stories, poetry, and potential books. When I am not being serious, I like to play video games (RPGs and Fighting games mostly) and I absolutely love to go out dancing with friends. Work and school take up the rest of my time. I am a film production major in college and occasionally work as a DJ at the college radio station as well as my meager retail clerk position at a video store. Most of all, I am quite excited about being casted as Lucy. I can't wait to get started and hear the finished production! Samuel Voice: Edwyn, a.k.a. Ballin (The 'Jersey "Mo Frigga") Role: One of the male antagonists, and one smooth talker Bit O' Info: Born and raised in New Jersey and part time student/musician. Spend my free time writing, drawing, listening to/making/playing music, meeting new people (just walk up to some people and say "Hi!" You may be surprised at their reactions), talking/messing around with my freinds, and adding to the collection of various stuff. I've always thought about and now enjoy voice acting because I've been a fan of animation for years and followed the work of many classic voice actors such as Peter Cullen, Mel Blanc, Frank Welker, and many others and admired their work. So being a voice actor has always been a career idea for me and hopefully in the future I can make a career out of it as a pro or have some kind of job in music or law enforcement, whatever catches my fancy.
